Audrena Kelly, LCSW-S

Specialties: I work with adults ages 18 and up of all genders who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, life challenges, grief, relationship concerns, self esteem issues, and personal growth desires. I enjoy working with individuals who appear to be “put together” on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. I also have a deep commitment to supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) individuals navigating identity and cultural pressures. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and build tools to live with more clarity and intention. I aim to accomplish this by walking alongside you as you discover your resilience, deepen your self-awareness, and move towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Approaches: I believe therapy should meet you where you are. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered approach that is rooted in compassion and respect, recognizing that each individual’s story is unique and that healing looks different for everyone. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies with trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based techniques. I also incorporate a holistic perspective that considers the emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural aspects of well-being. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs whether that means learning coping strategies, processing past experiences, or exploring patterns in your relationships.

Experience: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor designation in Texas and Indiana. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and I’m currently working on my Doctorate degree in Social Work from Morgan State University with an expected May 2027 graduation date. I have over 12 years of experience working with youth, adults, and families in various settings including behavioral health and substance abuse facilities, community-based services, eating recovery treatment centers, group home services, and private practice. I have completed several trainings to build my holistic perspective and I supervise newer clinicians in Texas and Indiana. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
