Abigail Spence - LMSW

I am a Licensed Master of Social Work, TF-CBT Trained Therapist - Associate being Supervised by Audrena Kelley, LCSW-S.

Specialties:
I focus on supporting teens (ages 14-18) and adults (ages 19-35). I am committed to helping clients navigate challenges related to ADHD, trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions.

To accommodate varying schedules, I provide both in-person and virtual sessions.

Approaches: My approach is person-centered, with a focus on meeting each individual exactly where they are. I am truly passionate about this work and genuinely care about you and your well-being!

My goal is to support your growth by creating a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I practice integrative therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Experience: I’ve spent over nine years supporting people across many areas of mental health- including crisis intervention, inpatient care, non-profit advocacy, and private practice. This experience has given me a broad understanding of mental health care and allows me to meet each person where they are, with care, attention, and empathy.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with significant trauma histories, including sexual, physical, and psychological abuse. I am also pursuing advanced training to further enhance my expertise in supporting clients with ADHD.

I studied at the University of Arkansas where I received my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees. Woo Pig Sooie!
