Lisa LaTurno, LCSW

Specialties: I specialize in helping people ages 4 to 99 navigate the difficulties and stressors of life including school challenges, anxiety, depression, parenting, grief/loss, emotional regulation, and sensory integration issues.
I offer in-person sessions for all ages and virtual counseling for adults navigating seasons of grief and loss.
Approaches: While my approach is based on the needs of the client, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and other techniques to assist clients as they navigate the complexities of life.
Christian faith-based counseling is available when requested.
I strive to help my clients discover their own strengths while gaining insight and tools to make positive life changes.
Experience: Over the past 25 years as an LCSW, I have held a variety of roles including crisis interventionist, child therapist, hospice social worker, grief counselor, adolescent addiction therapist, and private practitioner. Although recently “retired”, I have also been a Homeschool mom for the past 13 years.
I am in-network with Aetna, UnitedHealth, UMR, Cigna, and BCBS.
I also offer virtual counseling for adult women in Texas.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
