Therapy in Denton, TX for children and teens ages 3 and up.

Specialties: I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and teens experiencing anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, family changes, social challenges, self-esteem struggles, and/or school-related stressors. I also support families through play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions that help children feel understood, connected, and empowered both at home and at school.

Approaches: My therapeutic approach is guided by the unique needs of each client and rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and authentic relationship. I draw from a variety of approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, psychoeducation, and strengths-based counseling to best support children, teens, and families. My goal is to help clients feel understood, build emotional awareness and coping skills, strengthen confidence, and develop tools that support meaningful growth and positive change both in and outside of therapy.

Experience: I have 7 years of experience working with children and families in educational settings, including special education, behavioral support, case management, and early childhood education. My background has given me experience supporting children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and learning needs while collaborating closely with families and schools.
